DONE GOOD

A little while ago I had the pleasure of meeting and filming this video with the renowned Australian artist Ken Done at his studio and gallery in The Rocks in Sydney. We chatted all things art, advertising, travel, his idyllic childhood on the NSW North Coast, and how it instilled in him his love of loud colours from early on.

I couldn't help but be a little starstruck, having grown up with Ken's artwork adorning my mum's swimsuits and brightly-pattered scarves in the early 90's while on family holidays in Noosa and Fiji.

A portrait of Ken is part of the 2024 Archibald prize, painted by the wonderful Studio-A represented artist, Thom Roberts.
