Internationally, bee populations are in drastic decline, posing a serious threat to the future of global food supply. The Urban Beehive was established as an organisation that helps protect local bee populations, and raises awareness of the plight of all our beneficial insects.

Founders Vicky Brown (pictured) and Doug Purdie currently care for over 100 beehives across Sydney, and run education workshops teaching others how to maintain their own beehives at home.
